About The Corps Network Great Outdoors Day of Service

The Corps Network’s Great Outdoors Day of Service is our way to recognize June as Great Outdoors MonthYouth from Corps across the country, as well as many friends and partners of the Corps movement, come to Washington, DC to participate in service projects at iconic parks throughout the Nation's Capital. The purpose of of this event is twofold:

1. Inspire people to get outside and contribute to the preservation of America’s natural spaces.

2. Raise awareness about how Conservation Corps, volunteers and other national service programs play an extremely important role in protecting and improving our public lands.
